Philip Maung was presented a Certificate of Honor by the Mayor and Board of Supervisors, City and County of San Francisco “in appreciative public recognition of distinction and merit for outstanding service to a significant portion of the people of the City and County of San Francisco to establish a US-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce; and in recognition of his achievements of enormous entrepreneurial success.
